The Story

SORADA

Performance Haircare · Formulated by Sofie Raddatz

Sorada is not a traditional haircare company. It began with one formulator, an empty beaker and a question that refused to go away: why do some products transform hair, while most only promise to?

How It Started

Not every product deserves to exist.

Sorada began in a laboratory, not in a marketing meeting. For more than fifteen years, Sofie Raddatz developed formulas for others — learning how surfactants behave, how proteins bind, how a single percentage decides whether hair feels weightless or weighed down.

Along the way one thing became impossible to ignore: most products on the shelf are stock recipes with a new label. The story is written first, and the formula is fitted to it afterwards.

Sorada was created to work the other way around. The formula comes first. Everything else follows from it.

No shortcuts. No stock formulations. No compromises.

Our Philosophy

We don't formulate products to follow trends. We formulate products that deserve a permanent place in your routine.

Every ingredient has a purpose. Every percentage has been considered. Every texture has been refined.

A formula is a system: change one variable and foam, slip, deposition and feel all move with it. Our work is the patient documentation of those movements, batch after batch, until the result is repeatable in any bathroom.

Because true luxury isn't complexity. It's precision.

03

Our Mission

To create performance-driven haircare through thoughtful formulation, scientific precision and uncompromising craftsmanship.

To let fewer, better products replace the shelf of half-used bottles — so that results come from what is inside the formula, not from how many you own.

Our Vision

To become one of the world's most respected independent performance haircare brands.

Recognised not for marketing. But for extraordinary formulations.

A house where the person who owns the brand is still the person who writes the formulas.

Our Values

Performance — results always come first. Every formula is created to perform beautifully in everyday life.

Precision — small adjustments create remarkable differences. Nothing is accidental.

Integrity — we formulate honestly. We communicate honestly. We never promise more than science allows us to support.

Craftsmanship — every formulation reflects years of experience, refinement and curiosity.

Responsibility — fewer products, longer intervals between purchases, and materials chosen with their afterlife in mind.

Timelessness — we don't chase trends. We create products people return to.

Brand Story

Sofie Raddatz — The Formulator

Every great formula begins with an empty beaker.

Long before Sorada existed, there was simply a fascination with understanding why some products transformed hair while others failed. That curiosity became years of studying ingredients, testing textures, refining percentages and learning how every component influences performance.

Very few cosmetic houses are owned by the person who developed the formulas. Sorada is. Nothing is outsourced to a contract recipe, and nothing is released because the calendar says so.

More than fifteen years later, that same philosophy remains unchanged. Sorada isn't built around marketing. It is built around formulation.

The goal has never been to create the largest collection. Only the right one.

Brand Promise

Performance begins with the formula.

Responsibility

Sustainability, to us, is not a claim on a label. It is a consequence of formulating well.

Solid formats remove water from the equation — and with it much of the plastic, weight and transport that water requires. One bar replaces several bottles.

Concentrated, high-performing formulas mean less product per wash and longer intervals between purchases. The most sustainable product is the one you don't have to replace.

Raw materials are selected for performance and compatibility, and documented by supplier. Packaging is kept minimal, recyclable and free of decorative excess.

We would rather understate what we do than overstate it. Every claim on this page is one we can support.
